- Reflection by a Teacher
“Called to Lead with Purpose”
Based on Romans 12:6–8: “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us…”
Today’s ceremony reminds us that leadership is a gift and a calling. Just as the Bible teaches that each of us is given unique gifts — teaching, encouraging, serving — our Head Girl, Head Boy, and Prefects are chosen not just for their abilities, but for their willingness to use their gifts for the good of others.
True leadership is not about authority, but about responsibility. Jesus, the greatest leader, washed His disciples’ feet — an act of humble service. Likewise, our leaders today are called to lead by example, with faith, courage, and compassion. Let your leadership be rooted in service, not pride; in love, not fear; and always for the glory of God. Amen.
- Special Prayer for the Student Council
Loving God, we thank You for the leaders You have raised among us. Bless our Head Girl, Vice-Head Girl, Secretary, House Captains and Vice-Captains, Prefects and all the Office Bearers. May they lead with justice, speak with wisdom, and act with love. Let their service bring harmony, progress, and joy to our school. Amen.
- Final Blessing
May the Lord bless and protect our student leaders.
May He guide their decisions and give them grace to lead wisely.
Let their time in service be fruitful, and their hearts remain faithful.
May they grow in courage, faith, and love, and always remember –
they are not just chosen by us, but called by God. Amen.
